DOLPHINS and HEALING
Those of us working with Dolphins have observed that the dolphins' abilities surpass the stunts we've seen them do on television. There have been other programmes that incorporated dolphins, usually as a reward for completing therapy. However, the CranioSacral programme is different in that the therapeutic modality-CranioSacral Therapy-is performed in the water with the dolphins.
CranioSacral Therapy (CST), developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger, D.O., O.M.M. is a hands-on modality that seeks to identify and release restrictions in the body's CranioSacral system.
Working in water provides an environment where the effects of gravity are limited. When CST is applied under these conditions the release of restrictions is perceived within a three-dimensional context. CST in this reduced gravity environment co-jointly with the dolphins is unique and very exciting.
Dolphins emit ultrasound waves that vary in frequency. Ultrasound therapy is used extensively for the rehabilitation of sports injuries. The alternate sound frequencies of the dolphins have been measured at levels that exceed those used in hospitals to shatter kidney stones. As such it is conceivable that the dolphin's ultrasound is capable of affecting human tissue as the variable modulation of the frequency appears to contribute significantly to the tissue and membraneous releases noted by the therapists and remarked on by the clients as there is increased flexibility and reduction in adhesions attributable to this ultrasound wave therapy by the dolphins.
Observations point to the innate ability to scan the body using a frequency to detect restrictions and match those vibrations exactly-When this occurs, the restrictions release. Dolphins can respond in nearly identical ways to the same client. In fact, for one woman whose disability included significant injury and paralysis to her right leg, each dolphin focused nearly exclusively on the leg during the sessions. Similarly, each dolphin focused primarily on the right parietal as well as the left side of the body.
Dolphins have been observed to produce echolocation sound or ultrasonic vibratory sound frequencies at intensities of 8.3W / cm². Thus, dolphins naturally produce an ultrasonic frequency that is 4 times the frequency used for therapeutic purposes in clinics and hospitals throughout the USA. In addition to this measured frequency of 8.3W / cm², it is important to remember that the dolphin ultrasound is delivered through water, a highly efficient medium for sound transference - in fact, 60 times more efficient than air.
RANGE OF ULTRASOUND FREQUENCIES
Diagnostic Imaging: 80mW / cm²
Therapeutic Ultrasound: 2W / cm²
Dolphin: 8.3W / cm²
Sonic Welding: 2,500W / cm²
We are intending to return to Columbia but for those where the distance is too far we are looking at Dolphin Therapy in Spain.
